Medford Professional Firefighters, Local 824

Local 824 proudly represents the men and women of the Medford Fire Department, located in Medford, Oregon.  Currently Local 824 represents 68 members of the department with duties ranging from Firefighter, Engineer, Captain and Fire Inspector.  Local 824 is the sole representative of non-management  line personnel, and represents them to the City in matters such as collective bargaining, grievance administration, and safety matters.

Local 824 members are an integral part of their community.  As such, Local 824 joins annually with other fire departments across the country to support the MDA.  The International Association of Firefighters has supported the MDA for many years and is the top fundraising organization during the MDA's yearly telethon.  Each year, members of the Medford Professional Firefighters contribute by participating in the "Fill the Boot" capmpaign that is held at various location around Medford.
